“The Twelve Days of Christmas” is an English Christmas carol. It is about twelve gifts given on each day of the Christmas season which starts on Christmas day.

Many have heard this song and sung it numerous times.

Not only is this carol sung, but it is also used for the “Christmas Price Index”; an economic indicator to track the cost of items in the carol through the years.
